APP PRIVACY POLICY

This policy covers the Remi Blaze apps for iPhone and iPad. It is separate from the privacy policy for this website, which describes website analytics and mailing lists. None of that applies to the apps. The apps collect nothing.

The Short Version

These apps collect no data of any kind. There are no analytics, no accounts, no advertising, no tracking, and no network connections. Nothing you do in them leaves your device.

Who We Are

The apps are published by Empellex Inc. (Ontario, Canada), operating as Remi Blaze. Because the apps collect no personal data, there is no data for us to control, store, or process. If you have a question about this policy, contact us at support@remiblaze.com.

What We Collect

Nothing. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell personal information. There is no sign-up, no login, and no identifier of any kind associated with you. The apps contain no analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash-reporting software, and no third-party SDKs.

The apps make no network requests. They work identically with your device in airplane mode.

Audio

All audio is processed on your device, in memory, while you are using the app. It is never uploaded, never stored by us, and never leaves your device. Audio is processed and discarded continuously as it plays — no recording is made and no file is written.

Microphone

Every app in the range asks for microphone permission, and iOS shows you a reason when it asks. There are two different reasons, and the app tells you which one applies:

• The microphone is the instrument. In Tunix Raw, Dropix Raw, Morphix Raw and Vaporate Raw, you can switch the input to the microphone and hear the effect applied to your voice in real time. This is the point of those apps. The sound is processed as it arrives and discarded immediately — nothing is recorded, saved, or sent anywhere.
• The audio engine requires it. The remaining apps never read the microphone at all. They play bundled audio through the effect instead. iOS still requires the permission because the audio engine opens an input device when it starts, so the app would not run without it.

You can refuse or revoke microphone access at any time in iOS Settings. The apps remain usable — the ones that do not use the microphone are entirely unaffected, and the four that do fall back to their bundled audio.

Files You Open

Some apps let you pick an audio file to play or measure. That file is read from the location you chose, processed on your device, and never copied, uploaded, or retained by us. We do not see which file you picked.

Data Stored On Your Device

The apps save their own settings — a knob position, a chosen loudness target, and similar — in the app's private storage on your device. This is ordinary app state, not personal information. It never leaves the device and it is removed when you delete the app.

Children

The apps are rated 4+ and are suitable for all ages. Because they collect no data at all, they collect no data from children.

Third Parties

There are none. The apps contain no third-party analytics, advertising, or attribution software and make no network requests.

The apps include the Bebas Neue typeface, used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The full license text is included in each app, under the information button. Including a typeface does not involve any data being shared.

Purchases

Where an app is paid, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store under Apple's own privacy policy. We never see your payment details, and the app itself contains no purchasing or payment code.

Your Rights

If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or Canada you have the right to request access to personal data held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how it is used. In the case of these apps there is nothing to request: no personal data is collected, so none is held. If you want that confirmed in writing, email support@remiblaze.com and we will reply.

Changes To This Policy

If an app changes in a way that affects how data is handled, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will reflect the revision. Because the apps collect nothing, we do not expect substantive changes.
