MisomidixArp is a paid plugin, a one-time purchase, yours to keep. It is signed and notarized by Apple, so it installs cleanly with no security warnings.
Does MisomidixArp make any sound on its own?
No. MisomidixArp generates MIDI. Put it on a MIDI track ahead of an instrument, or drag its output straight into your timeline.
Which formats and systems does MisomidixArp support?
AU, VST3, CLAP, AAX and a Standalone app, as a Universal Binary for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, on macOS 15.0 or later.
How is this different from the arpeggiator in my DAW?
A DAW arpeggiator needs you to hold the chord. MisomidixArp generates the progression first from music theory and a genre profile, then sequences that chord's tones, so the pattern always belongs to the harmony underneath it without you playing anything.
What arp controls does it have?
Rate from 1/8 down to 1/32 including 8th and 16th triplets, five directions (up, down, up/down, random and converge), one to four octaves of range, and a Gate control that takes it from plucky and detached to running legato.
Does the output ever repeat?
No. Nothing is played back from a library. Every note is generated from music theory, so the same genre never gives you the same pattern twice.
What is the difference between MisomidixArp and the full Misomidix?
MisomidixArp writes one part, the arp. The full Misomidix writes all six parts, drums, chords, bass, melody, stabs and arp, together in one plugin.
