The one CRUNCH knob reduces bit depth and adds sample-rate decimation together for instant lo-fi grit — the same bitcrush and decimator engine from the full Crunchix, behind a single knob. Auto Gain keeps the output level-matched, and the whole thing runs zero-latency.

One knob, hidden parameters — CRUNCH is the only host-automatable parameter; every underlying engine control is wrapped as non-automatable so it never clutters your automation list, yet still saves and restores with the plugin's state.

Bit depth and decimation together — the bitcrusher quantizes each sample to a reduced number of levels while a sample-and-hold decimator reduces the sample rate, both eased in front-loaded so the first quarter of the knob is subtle.

Bass Sentinel — a stereo Linkwitz-Riley crossover splits off the low band before the crush and recombines the clean lows afterward, so the bottom end stays solid while the crush bites the mids and tops.

Constant, zero latency — oversampling is pinned Off, so the plugin reports a fixed latency and the host's plugin-delay compensation never changes mid-stream.

Safe by design — a DC blocker preserves headroom after quantization, an unconditional soft clipper feeds a 0 dBFS hard ceiling, and NaN/Inf protection with denormal guards keeps the output clean at any knob position.
