Ghostix Raw

One knob turns any sound into a tempo-synced ghost gate. Ghostix Raw is the free, one-macro version of the full Ghostix — a plain audio insert that chops your groove with the trance / tech-house ghost gate, no MIDI and no setup required. Drop it on a pad, stab, bassline, or bus, set your DAW tempo, and turn it up: as HAUNT rises the gate gets deeper and choppier, while a depth-tracking makeup gain keeps everything level-matched so it never jumps in volume. At 0 it's clean passthrough.

Always-on tempo-synced gate — a per-sample gain gate with a click-free window opens across the first half of each 1/8-note cycle, then a smooth cosine dip and back across the closed half, with HAUNT setting how deep that dip goes.

Anti-click edges — the gate gain is smoothed with a one-pole slew and the macro-driven values are slewed too, so tempo or period changes never click and the sound stays zipper-free.

Anti-pop on recall — on any preset or state recall the audio thread fades to silence, swaps at near-zero gain, then fades back up, so recalls land silently.

Zero, constant latency — the gate is a memoryless per-sample multiply with no lookahead or FFT, so reported latency is a stable 0 and never shifts as you sweep the knob.

One automatable control — HAUNT is the only host-automatable parameter; the derived engine values (depth, mix, output makeup) are hidden, non-automatable, but still save and restore with the session.
