Ghostix
MIDI-Triggered Multi-FX
"Audio passes through clean until you press a key. Each note triggers a DSP effect — rhythmic gates, bit-crush, reverse, pitch — with envelopes and velocity control. Play your effects like an instrument."
INSTALLATION
3 steps. Takes 30 seconds.
RUN THE INSTALLER
Double-click Ghostix_Installer.pkg. Choose AU, VST3, or Standalone.
CHOOSE YOUR FORMATS
The installer lets you pick AU (Logic, GarageBand, Ableton), VST3 (Ableton, Reaper, Bitwig, FL Studio, Cubase), and the Standalone app. Install takes a few seconds.
OPEN YOUR DAW
Restart your DAW and rescan plugins if needed. Find Ghostix under Remi Blaze in your plugin list. Because Ghostix is MIDI-controlled, place it on a track that receives both audio and MIDI.
- Ableton: Plugins › Audio Effects › VST3 (route MIDI to the effect)
- Logic Pro: Audio Effects › Remi Blaze › Ghostix (MIDI-controlled effect)
- Reaper: FX › VST3 › Ghostix (feed MIDI to the track)
WHAT IT DOES
Stop drawing automation and start playing your effects. Ghostix turns your MIDI controller into an FX instrument — press a key and an effect fires, hold it to ride the moment, release it to snap back clean. It's the fastest way to build glitchy, rhythmic, performance-ready movement into any track.
Ghostix is a MIDI-controlled multi-FX audio plugin. Audio passes through clean until a MIDI note is pressed. Each key in the C3-C4 range triggers a specific DSP effect with an attack/release envelope — hold a note to sustain the effect, release to fade back to dry. Velocity controls intensity. It turns your keyboard or piano roll into a live performance FX rig.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Ghostix is a paid plugin — a one-time purchase, yours to keep with no subscription. Prefer to try before you buy? Ghostix Raw gives you a tempo-synced ghost gate for free, forever, as part of the Blaze Essentials pack.
Your audio passes through clean until you play a MIDI note. Each key in the C3–C4 range triggers a specific DSP effect with an attack/release envelope — hold a note to sustain the effect, release to fade back to dry. Velocity controls intensity, so it plays like an instrument.
13 effects across three note zones: C3–E3 fire tempo-synced rhythmic gates (1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/8 triplet, 1/16 dotted); F3–A3 fire bit-crush (12/8/4/2-bit) plus full-drive saturation; and Bb3–C4 fire 50ms and 100ms buffer reverse plus a +1 octave pitch shift.
You need MIDI input — either a hardware controller or your DAW's piano roll. Because Ghostix is MIDI-controlled, place it on a track that receives both audio and MIDI; routing varies by DAW (Ableton, Logic Pro, Reaper, and Bitwig each have their own method).
Yes. The Blaze Limiter is a −0.1 dBFS soft clipper enabled by default, with a hard ceiling, NaN/Inf protection, and a dead-man's switch that auto-resets stuck effects. A Sub-Anchor crossover preserves your low end while effects process.
Yes. Ghostix is a Universal Binary that runs natively on Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel Macs, in AU, VST3, and Standalone formats.
