Vortix continuously captures your audio, auto-slices it into 19 grains mapped to a hexagonal grid, and triggers them along a path you draw — locked to your DAW tempo. It turns any sound into a living, rhythmic instrument.

Gravity Mode lets you place up to four attractor points anywhere on the grid. They bend the playhead's timing to create organic swing and syncopation that a linear sequencer can't produce.

Age is a single slider that degrades the sound from clean digital through vintage warmth to glitchy digital rot — passing through low-pass sweeps, tape hiss, dropouts, and bit crushing. The UI degrades in sync as you turn it up.
