Granular Engine

◆64-voice grain pool with 6 grain parameters: Position, Size (10–500 ms), Density, Scatter, Pitch (±24 semitones), and Pitch Spray
◆Four window functions (Hann, Triangle, Rectangle, Tukey) with a pre-rendered lookup table for smooth overlapping crossfades
◆Wrapping linear interpolation reads grains at fractional positions for clean pitch shifting
◆Grain Scatter randomizes grain start times to avoid phasing artifacts

Formant XY Pad

◆Formant X / Y — XY pad that morphs between A, E, I, and O vowel shapes, bilinearly interpolated across the pad corners
◆Three parallel band-pass formant filters (IIR, Q = 8) whose F1/F2/F3 center frequencies track the vowel field
◆Formant Amount — blend from dry source to fully formant-filtered
◆Formant Shift — darken or brighten the overall vowel character

Harmony & Pitch

◆Chord Mode stacks harmonized grain voices — Power, Minor, Major, Octave, or the signature Blaze9 voicing
◆Chord Inversion (Root, 1st, or 2nd) and Harmonic Tilt for spectral balance across the chord voices (±6 dB/oct)
◆Scale Lock quantizes grain pitch to Off, Chromatic, Major, Minor, Pentatonic, or Blues
◆Root Note (C through B) sets the key for scale quantization

Performance, Output & Presets

◆Freeze locks the grain buffer to sustain a moment indefinitely, with Freeze Hold to latch the frozen state
◆Seed Lock makes the grain texture reproducible, so a saved project reloads identically
◆Mix dry/wet blend, Output level trim (−24 to +6 dB), Bypass, and a 10 Hz DC-blocking high-pass keep the signal clean

What is the formant XY pad?
