◆Chaos Lock — freezes the random seed to make a chaos pattern repeatable

What's the difference between Gate mode and Sample mode?

Gate mode chops your live audio input through the 16-step pattern with an attack/release envelope. Sample mode triggers a drag-and-drop sample on each active step instead. Both stay locked to your host tempo.

What does the Chaos engine do?

The Chaos knob sets the probability of per-step random effects. It draws from four effects — Reverse, Double Speed, Pitch Up, and Bit Corrupt — each with its own weight so you can bias which ones are chosen. Chaos Lock freezes the random seed to make a glitch pattern repeatable.

How does pattern morphing work?

Store two patterns (A and B), then the Morph slider blends smoothly between them. Auto-Morph is a beat-synced LFO (Sine or Triangle, 2–32 bars per cycle) that sweeps the morph automatically for evolving, ever-changing grooves.

Are the pitch effects in tune?

Yes. Pitch chaos is quantized to a musical scale — Off, Major, Minor, Pentatonic, Phrygian, or Dorian — with a selectable root note, so glitchy repitches stay in key with your track.
