Hazex Raw

One knob, from dry to a deep, hazy reverb space. Hazex Raw is the free, one-knob version of Hazex — the algorithmic stereo reverb — giving you a genuinely gorgeous tail with nothing to configure. Drop it on vocals, drums, synths, a pad, or a full bus and open the one knob.

Hazex Raw drops your signal into a lush algorithmic stereo reverb — the same FDN reverb engine from the full Hazex, driven by a single knob. No menus, no setup: drop it on a channel and open SPACE. Size, decay, width and mix all move together, and an output headroom bias keeps the result level-matched so it never jumps forward in the mix. At 0 it's clean and dry.

8-line Householder FDN — Hazex Raw runs the full Hazex Pro reverb engine unchanged, a feedback delay network whose eight delay lines use prime-number base lengths for a dense, natural tail free of ringing.

Clean, stable tail — each feedback path has damping, a DC blocker, gentle tanh soft-saturation, and an anti-alias low-pass, fed by a 4-stage allpass input diffuser, so the tail stays clean at every size and decay.

Constant latency — the reverb engine reports zero latency and never changes it mid-stream, so the host's plugin-delay compensation stays stable while you sweep the knob.

One automatable knob — SPACE is the only host-automatable parameter; every hidden engine value is wrapped in a non-automatable subclass so it never clutters the host's automation list, yet all values still save and restore with the session.

Output safety — a soft clipper at 0 dBFS plus a hard limit keep the output bounded, with ScopedNoDenormals and NaN/Inf guards keeping it stable across the full sweep.
