WHAT IT DOES
Hazex is a lush, atmospheric reverb for electronic music — the kind of space that turns a flat mix into something alive. Dial in anything from a tight, dry room to an endless shimmering cloud, then let the tail move, breathe, and duck around your groove without ever muddying the low end. It's built for producers who want reverb with character and control, not just wet.
Hazex is an algorithmic stereo reverb built on a custom 8-line feedback delay network with a Householder mixing matrix for perfectly even energy distribution. It ranges from tight forensic rooms to massive shimmering halls — with internal sidechain ducking, dynamic saturation, octave shimmer, reverse bloom, and a mono-bass guardrail that keeps club sub systems phase-safe.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Yes. Hazex is completely free to download and use under a proprietary freeware license. No trial, no watermark, no feature limits.
Hazex is an algorithmic stereo reverb built on a custom 8-line feedback delay network with a Householder mixing matrix and prime-length delay lines. The result is a dense, natural tail that ranges from tight forensic rooms to massive shimmering halls.
Ghost Ducking is an internal sidechain that ducks the wet reverb under loud transients, then lets it bloom back when the input quiets down. A 3ms lookahead lets the envelope see transients before they arrive, so the tail moves with your groove instead of muddying it.
Shimmer adds a +12 semitone pitch shift inside the feedback loop for accumulating octave harmonics. Reverse Bloom uses grain-based reversal with Hann windowing to create a "sucking" tension effect that pulls the tail backwards.
Sub-Anchor is a mono-bass guardrail — an LR4 24dB/oct crossover (20–500Hz) that forces low frequencies to mono. It protects club sub systems from stereo phase cancellation so your low end stays tight and translates on big rigs.
Yes. Hazex is a Universal Binary that runs natively on Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel Macs.
