WHAT IT IS

Perfectly-timed remix fills, generated live on any track. Infernix is a real-time remix engine — not a distortion box — that turns any sound into a moving performance instrument, firing club-ready glitches, rolls, and drops on cue and slipping back to dry before anyone notices the seam.

Insert it on any track — drums, vocals, synths, a full mix — and it continuously records the last 2 bars into a circular buffer. When it fires, on a phrase boundary or on your command, two independent ghost playheads rearrange the buffered audio into syncopated slices while an FFT engine morphs the spectrum toward a chosen sound profile, then it crossfades cleanly back to your dry signal.

FEATURES

Groove Engine

Circular buffer continuously records the last 2 bars without capturing anything permanent from your track — a power-of-2 buffer that resizes itself to your project tempo
Two independent ghost playheads with separate speed (0.5x/1x/2x), direction (forward/reverse), slice length (1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 note), and offset
Playhead Mix knob blends between the two playheads
Zero-crossing snap (±64 samples) lands every playhead jump on a silent point, so slices restart click-free
Ghost-playhead high-pass filtering trims low-end mud so fills sit cleanly under the mix

Profile Engine

FFT-based spectral morphing — a 1024-bin FFT with 512-sample hops (50% overlap-add) that is phase-preserving, so only the magnitude spectrum is pulled toward the target and morphed material stays coherent
16 sound profiles — kick and drum characters, genre voicings (Minimal Click, Deep Tech Rolling, Warehouse Industrial, UK Garage), synth textures, plus Telephone / Radio / Underwater effects
Morph Amount knob sets how far the remix is pulled toward the selected profile

Motion & Auto-Fill

20 tempo-synced LFO shapes for rhythmic gating — Sidechain Pump, Trance Gates, Sine, Triangle, Square, Saw and more — with 1/4 to 1/32 sync and adjustable depth
Auto-Fill Brain watches the host transport and ignites the remix on phrase boundaries — every 2, 4, or 8 bars
Safety-arm threshold (−40 dB) holds fire while a track is silent, so auto-fills never trigger into empty space
Fill Length spans 1 beat, 2 beats, or a full bar
Manual Ignite button fires a remix at any time, overriding auto-fill

Workflow & Viral Tools

Randomize jumps to a fresh configuration in one click; A/B snapshots and compares two parameter states instantly
Pattern Seed — copy and paste your full remix configuration as a 6-character code to share and recreate exact settings
Infinite Evolve auto-randomizes profile and motion every 8 bars; 3D Space adds binaural depth for width and distance
Global Crossfade (5–100 ms), dry/wet Mix, Output trim (−24 to +6 dB), and Bypass

FACTORY PRESETS

11 factory presets — dial in a starting point in one click, then push it wherever the track wants to go.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is Infernix free?

No — Infernix is a paid, premium remix engine. It's a one-time purchase with no subscription: buy it once and it's yours, including future updates. If you want to try the engine for free first, Infernix Raw puts the whole thing behind a single REMIX knob at no cost.

What does Infernix actually do?

It's a live remix engine, not a distortion or effect box. Insert it on any track and it continuously records the last 2 bars into a circular buffer. When it fires — on a phrase boundary or on your command — two ghost playheads rearrange that audio into syncopated fills while the spectrum morphs toward a chosen sound profile, then it crossfades cleanly back to your dry signal.

How do the two ghost playheads work?

PH1 and PH2 each read the buffered audio independently with their own speed (0.5x/1x/2x), direction (forward/reverse), slice length (1/16 to 1/2 note), and offset. The Playhead Mix knob blends between them, and zero-crossing snap (±64 samples) keeps every slice jump click-free.

What is the Profile Engine?

An FFT-based spectral morph (1024-bin, 50% overlap-add) that pulls the remix toward one of 16 sound profiles — kick and drum characters, genre voicings like Minimal Click, Deep Tech Rolling, Warehouse Industrial and UK Garage, synth textures, plus Telephone, Radio, and Underwater effects. It's phase-preserving, so only the magnitude spectrum is morphed and the material stays coherent.

Can it fire fills automatically?

Yes. The Auto-Fill Brain watches the host transport and ignites the remix on phrase boundaries — every 2, 4, or 8 bars — with a safety-arm threshold that holds fire while a track is silent. You can also hit the Manual Ignite button to fire a remix at any time.

Does Infernix support Apple Silicon?

Yes. Infernix is a Universal Binary that runs natively on Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel Macs, as AU, VST3, and Standalone.
