One knob. Turn it up and your track gets tighter, punchier, and louder — no threshold, ratio, or makeup to dial in. Furnix Raw is the free, one-knob take on the full Furnix compressor: everything is tuned for you behind the scenes, so you get finished-sounding dynamics in a single move.

Furnix Raw tames dynamics and adds punch in a single move — the same compression engine from the full Furnix, distilled into one macro control. As you turn it up, the compressor bites harder and a transient-punch stage blends the raw attack back in, so hits stay lively while the body tightens — with a touch of analog heat on top and auto gain holding the level steady. Drums hit harder, buses gel together, and loops gain weight without losing life.

One knob, hidden parameters — SQUEEZE is the only host-automatable parameter; threshold, ratio, punch, heat and every other compressor control are wrapped as non-automatable so they never clutter your automation list, yet still save and restore with the plugin's state.

Program-dependent compressor — smoothed threshold, ratio and knee with attack/release envelope detection, hold, and stereo link, all driven by a single front-loaded SQUEEZE move.

Transient-injection punch — a fast envelope follower extracts the raw transient and blends it back into the compressed signal, so attacks stay alive instead of squashed.

Analog Heat with oversampling — the Heat stage runs the "Coals" soft-tanh saturation through 4x oversampling to keep the character clean and anti-aliased, followed by a 5 Hz DC blocker to preserve headroom.

Constant latency and safety — lookahead is pinned internally (1 ms) so the reported latency never changes as you move the knob, with a −0.1 dBFS output soft-clip ceiling, denormal protection, and NaN/Inf guards keeping every position safe.
