Blazeit

Saturation Clipper & Transient Shaper

"Oversampled saturation clipper and transient shaper with four clip curves, pre-clip saturation modes, multiband processing, and the Fire Head heat tracker — push to the Sweet Spot, or beyond."

Blazeit makes your drums and bass hit harder — it clips the peaks to buy loudness, then a built-in transient shaper re-injects the attack snap that clipping usually eats, so your kicks and snares stay punchy instead of dull. Switch on multiband mode to clip the low end independently from the mids and highs for a tight, controlled bottom, and warm the whole thing up with tape, tube, or grit saturation before the clip. Auto-gain keeps the level honest so you can A/B by ear, not by volume.

FEATURES

Clipping Engine

Four clip curves: Soft (polynomial), Medium (tanh), Hard (brick-wall), Cubic (smooth S-curve)
Drive 0–100% with logarithmic scaling for fine control in the sweet spot
Ceiling −3.0 to 0.0 dB (default −0.30 dB, club-safe standard)
Oversampling: Draft 2x, Standard 4x, HQ 8x — static latency reporting for gapless quality switching

Transient Shaper

Attack (−100% to +100%) — lost-energy snap re-injection recovers the transient click that clipping removes
Sustain (−100% to +100%) — independent control of the sustained portion
Pre-clip reference tracking for accurate lost-energy detection, with snap magnitude clamped at 1.2x original peak

Pre-Clip Saturation & Multiband

Three pre-clipper saturation modes: Tape (warm asymmetric tanh), Tube (even harmonics), Grit (wavefolding, odd harmonics)
Linkwitz-Riley 24 dB/oct crossover (60–500 Hz) with independent Bass Clip control for the low band
K-weighted RMS auto-gain matching via ITU-R BS.1770 — 1.5-second smoothing prevents pumping

Fire Head Gamification

Four heat states — Cold, Warming, Sweet Spot, and Burnout — based on crest-factor ratio
Beat-synced bobbing reads DAW BPM from the host playhead
Heat Streak counter tracks consecutive seconds in the Sweet Spot with milestone celebrations at 10, 30, 60, 120, 300 seconds
IGNITE — 500ms drive sweep from 0 to current value for breakdown buildups. OVERHEAT — momentary 100% drive + Hard clip + 8x oversampling
