Subzix splits your signal with a Linkwitz-Riley crossover, sums the bass band to mono for club compatibility, and hands you full control of the low end — sub harmonics, saturation, envelope shaping, and an internal sidechain pulse — while the top band keeps its own stereo width and texture.

An octave-down sine oscillator tracks your detected pitch via autocorrelation. A rumble gate and energy capping keep the sub clean and prevent runaway levels, and a Bass Key selector (Off, C–B) lets you lock the sub to a musical note with an in-tune / out-of-tune indicator.

Three bass saturation modes: Warm (tanh soft-clip), Punch (asymmetric drive), and Grind (tube saturation with a 2nd-harmonic overlay). A DC blocker and 25 Hz safety filter remove subsonic energy after the saturation stage.

An internal transient ducker that detects kicks and ducks the sub with adjustable amount, release, and filter. It offers a Linear or Log curve and uses a 5 ms lookahead so it reacts before the transient arrives — no external sidechain routing required.
